Travel: Dreamtime Beach
This year, Melbourne's Summer has been less than impressive. 19 and raining doesn't really scream beach weather to us, which is disappointing as we honestly do have amazing beaches here. Although we are based in Melbourne, we tend to travel North almost every Summer. This Summer, we stumbled across an instagram tag that featured Dreamtime Beach. The white empty sand looked right up our alley, so off we went.
The point above is the final car access point, with the walk to Dreamtime beach being through the forest, as seen in the photos above. It's a short walk down a shaded path, when you see the sign, you're close. While the beach itself is a must see; white sand and rocky terrain make for an amazing view, climbing the rocks take this little spot to a whole new level. You feel on top of the world looking over the ocean. Climbing even higher will take you to the lighthouse.
If you're travelling up the coast, we highly recommend checking out this little gem and exploring. Pick a day thats not too windy - it can get a bit crazy when the wind is strong!
