The BEST Homemade Fries
These roast potatoes are honestly THE best ones yet. Trust us, do yourself a favour and make them ASAP! All you need for these bad boys:
- 4 large potatoes, similar in size
- Oil (Extra Virgin Olive oil or Coconut oil are delish)
Prior to starting, preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius + prepare a medium to large sized baking try by lining with baking paper.
Once you have washed and scrubbed and dried your spuds, cut into halves lengthways and next into long strips. They don’t all have to have skins on, just make sure the fries are cut similar in size.
Place chopped potatoes into baking your tray and drizzle on oil, just enough to coat. Next, add plenty of herbs. As you can see, ours were covered. The more herbs, the more flavour! Once your fries have been covered in herbs, sprinkle on some salt and pepper and mix.
Prior to placing the tray in the oven, check and ensure all fries are flat. Pop into the oven and cook for 25 minutes. Flip fries and cook for a further 20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
These are awesome with hummus, homemade aioli or just plain!
