Gluten-free Whole 30 Cheesy Crackers (vegan!)
Whilst salads and eggs are yum, and The Whole 30 is about eating whole foods and getting back to basics, sometimes you just want something crunchy to munch on! These cheesy crackers are Whole 30 compliant, vegan, gluten free, and super simple to make! To make these bad boys you'll need:
- 1 & 3/4 cups of almond meal
- Himalayan sea salt
- Nutritional yeast (optional vegan cheesy flavour)
- 2 tablespoons of Italian herbs
- 4 tablespoons of water
- 2 tablespoons of oil
Preheat your oven to 150˚C, and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Simply add all our dry ingredients to a bowl, and mix to combine. You can add whichever seasonings you like, such as Moroccan or mixed herbs - it's up to you!
Next, whisk the oil and water in a separate bowl, and once nicely combined, add to your dry ingredients. Stir everything thoroughly, and ensure your dry ingredients are wet and combined.
Form a dough like ball, and once done, place on your baking tray and roll out with a rolling pin. The thinner you roll, the crispier your cracker will be! Score lines throughout to create easily breakable cracker pieces, and place in the oven until golden brown (about 15-20 minutes).
