Easy Peasy Dark Choc Salted Caramel Slice
You asked, so you shall receive! Our easy peasy salted dark choc caramel slice. This is a no bake goodie and brand new recipe taste tested and approved! (Does eating the whole thing count as testing? Asking for a friend..)

For the base you will need:
2 cups almond meal (we used blanched, un-blanched will result in a darker coloured base but no difference in flavour!)
½ cup LSA
½ cup coconut oil
A pinch vanilla essence
For the caramel you will need:
1 ½ cup dates
2 tablespoons hulled tahini
1 tablespoon peanut butter
2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
¼ cup water
Pinch of salt
For the chocolate topping:
¼ cup coconut oil
100 grams Alter Eco Super Blackout chocolate
Line a loaf pan with baking paper. Mix the almond meal and LSA until combined.
Add in melted coconut oil and vanilla and mix. Pop into a lined tin and pop into the fridge.
Make caramel by mixing dates, coconut oil, tahini, peanut butter and salt into a food processor, slowly add in water until thick and creamy.
Spoon dollops onto base and place back into fridge.
Melt chocolate and coconut oil, spoon onto top of caramel and spread out evenly. Allow to set, slice and enjoy
